I had asked George if he could find any information on John Andrew Ferenc because he died at such a young age of only 36.

This is what he found out:
According to the 1920, 1930, and 1940 census John Andrew Ferenc lived at 14 Bender Place in Cliffside Park.  He enlisted into the Army on July 7, 1942 according to World War II enlistment records. The record also indicates he was an electrician.  John Andrew Ferenc became a Staff Sergeant while with Headquarters and Headquarters Company
1st Battalion, 351st Infantry Regiment.

This is where it gets interesting because he was Honorably Discharged just before wars end in either theater on April 19, 1945.  Was he injured or ill or was his time served just up?
John Andrew Ferenc according to <US Headstone records 1925-1963> had received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, so it is very possible that the injuries sustained while in service may very well have led to his death at such a very young age.

Let us always be grateful for his sacrifice.
